Digital Audio Recording
SoniClear ClearScribe captures digital recordings of reporting sessions on any Windows laptop or desktop computer. While recording, the user has the ability to enter timestamped notes, highlighting events for transcription and client review. VoiceBoost digital signal processing enhances the audio to ensure maximum clarity and intelligibility. The digital audio files can be stored on the local disk drive, CDROM, and network servers.

Increase Efficiency and Accuracy
Produce accurate transcripts more efficiently. ClearScribe sound quality is dramatically better than casette tape, ensuring recall of every detail. Timestamped notes make it easy to locate any section of long recordings. With the optional hardware USB Foot Pedal, the software works like a standard transcription machine for hands-free control.

Stenomask Support
Two-channel recording mode provides a separate channel for the room and stenomask microphones. Toggle between channels during playback using a keystroke or the foot pedal. The stenomask channel can be output as a separate file for transcription using Dragon speech recognition software. ClearScribe can be set up to record the speaking in the room, while dictating from the stenomask into Dragon. The combination provides cost-effective, realtime transcription.

Permanant Storage
Create permanent copies of recordings on CD. Duplicate on Audio CD or Data CD to provide copies of the recording to clients in the most convenient form. The software automatically splits long recordings into separate tracks and separate disks for easy production and efficient playback.

ClearScribe Versions
ClearScribe is available in two versions. The ClearScribe Dual-Channel version provides cost-effective recording where two channels are appropriate. For applications that require more than two channels, ClearScribe MX Multi-Channel version records up to eight channels.
