How SoniClear Works SoniClear software runs on any Windows XP computer to capture and process valuable information from meetings and court proceedings. General Features
Record Familiar tape recorder-style controls are used for starting and stopping, setting record volume, and displaying volume level. Audio is captured through the built-in computer sound card or an external sound system (USB or Firewire). SoniClear digitally records the sound on the computer disk drive using industry-standard audio file formats. Recording files can be managed like any other computer file, saving on CD, transferring over networks, and sending via the Internet. Organize Enter your agenda items and predefined notes into the program before the meeting. While recording the meeting, click to add agenda items and notes of events as they occur. The software records the note along with a timestamp of when the note was entered. You can edit notes while recording the meeting, or at a later time. The collection of notes from a meeting can be used like a “table of contents”. Any section of the recording can be played back by simply clicking on a note. No more hunting around on audio tapes to locate the important points to review. Produce Minutes Built-in VoiceBoost Signal Enhancement makes listening to meetings easier and clearer. The sound enhancement provided by VoiceBoost is designed specifically for improving voice intelligibility. SoniClear software includes a "Virtual Foot Pedal" for starting and stopping playback using a keystroke. This allows you to control playback during transcription without having to take your hands off the keyboard. An optional hardware USB Foot Pedal is available for users who prefer controlling playback exactly like operating a transcription machine. Share When listening on your desktop or laptop computer, notes created in SoniClear make it easy to hear the highlights of the meeting without having to replay the entire recording. Recordings can even be copied to any MP3 player for portable playback.
