Multichannel Audio for Recording Clarity

The HA4 Hybrid Audio kit provides multichannel capture of audio in the room. Each microphone is recorded on a separate channel. A separate channel is recorded from the conference software feed. With this multichannel recording individual channels can be played in isolation for complete clarity when reviewing and transcribing.

Multichannel Audio for Conference Clarity

The mix of the microphones from the room is also sent to the online conference software, making every voice intelligible to the online participants. The audio from the conference call participants can be played to the in-person participants using an optional powered speaker, or an existing sound system in the meeting room. The configuration of the audio mixer built into the included Focusrite USB audio interface ensures that the sound from local and remote participants stays separated to prevent echo or feedback when used in combination with the Auto Echo Cancellation built into the conferencing software.

C02 Microphone Kit

The C02 Microphone Kit is availabe for capturing the voice of a single participant. Samson C02 pencil-style microphone is designed with excellent sound quality and intelligibility when located in front of one person, while rejecting sound from people and noise sources located near them.

Example applications include recording a chair-person at a meeting, a judge or hearing officer, or any situation requires listening to a single voice for accurate speaker identification and detailed transcription.

The C02 Microphone Kit includes a portable desktop stand and an XLR microphone cable for connecting to the HA4 USB audio interface mixer.

Pro44 Conference Microphone

The Audio Technica Pro44 microphone is ideal for capturing multiple participants who are sitting near each other. The low profile conference-style microphone design captures audio over a 180 degree area in front of the microphone, while rejecting speaking or noise from behind.

Example applications include recording board members sitting at a table or dais, or attorneys at a courtroom desk. It is also useful for recording opposing participants who are facing each other at a conference table (such as in a deposition), or when there is noise, such as an audience at a meeting, that needs to be reduced for best sound quality.

The Pro44 microphone includes a 20 foot cable for connecting to the HA4 USB Audio Interface.

Voice Tracker III Kit

The Voice Tracker III microphone has a very broad pickup range. It uses a unique array microphone technology that focuses the pickup pattern for each person speaking in the room. The direction of pickup instantly switches between participants as they take turns.

Example applications for the Voice Tracker include meetings where there are a larger number of participants in the room, or participants are further apart from each other for social distancing. It is also good for picking up large areas, such a people participating from their seats at a meeting, or attorneys walking around a courtroom while presenting their case.

The Voice Tracker III Kit includes a 25 foot XLR cable kit for connecting to the HA4 USB audio interface.

Noise Cancelling Headset Kit

The Noise Cancelling Headset Kit is available for recording remotely, where background noise may interfere with the conference call or the recording.

The kit includes a Jabra Evolve 40 headset with an advance noise cancelling microphone to remove background noise. Also included in the kit is an adapter for connecting the headset to the HA4 USB audio interface.
