SoniClear Transcriber 10

Transcriber 10 combines the convenience of Windows transcription software with cloud-based artificial intelligence to create meeting minutes and legal transcripts.

Use Transcriber 10 for meetings to quickly write up summary, action or verbatim meeting minutes directly from the audio recording.

For court reporting, Transcription 10 can be used to speed up the production of verbatim transcripts.

Transcriber 10 is available as a subscription and is also bundled at no additional charge with SoniClear Gov Recorder 10, Court Recorder 10, and Interview Recorder 10 products.

How does SoniClear Transcriber 10 work?

The SoniClear Transcriber 10 software runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. Import recording files for playback and transcription, including MP3, MP4, M4A, WMV and WAV.

The SoniClear Cloud transcription service charges a per-minute fee that is based on the length of the recording. This is managed through the integrated SoniClear transcription account.

Transcribe In the Cloud

To transcribe a recording, Transcriber 10 uploads the recording to the SoniClear Cloud Server. There the file is converted to text using the latest voice recognition technology. One hour of recorded meeting time is transcribed to text in just a few minutes.

The artificial intelligence transcription process is smart enough to automatically handle recognition of multiple people speaking at the meeting, and a wide range of accents. This makes Transcriber 10 different from transcription software designed for dictation, which only works with one voice and requires extensive training for reliable results.

As a cloud-based technology, access to the Internet is required for the recording to be converted to text. The transcription is created with our transcription server, but not stored there.

Review

Once the transcription is completed, the computer generated text is automatically downloaded from the SoniClear Cloud server and added to the recording file.

SoniClear Transcriber 10 displays the transcription on the screen, allowing you to see the text while playing the recording. Click on any point in the transcript to play back the speaking at that point in the meeting, all on your local machine.

Timestamped notes, combined with automatic voice-to-text transcription, make it simple to locate every detail in the recording.

Export to Word

The transcript and any notes you have entered can be exported to Microsoft Word format. Transcriber 10 can then be used to play back the recording while editing and proofing the final transcript in Word.

Archive and Share

Recordings can be archived and shared with participants for direct access to important information. Using the included Windows player and web-based player, viewers can watch the computer transcribed text highlighted in sync with the playback. The listener can also select to play back any part of the recording by clicking on notes or the transcribed text.
